When Tru Arrow Partners needed a new entity, it used to mean lawyers, paperwork, and a bill that could top $2,000. Today, CFO Lee Grzesh forms entities himself through Discern for $99 plus state fees.
For a venture capital and Real Estate firm that regularly creates new fund vehicles and LLCs, those savings add up quickly.
Leaving a frustrating provider
Tru Arrow partnered with Discern in April 2026 after growing frustrated with its previous provider. The technology was clunky, invoices were hard to pay, and even something as basic as getting a certificate of good standing meant contacting support.
Finding filing dates meant digging through calendars. When Lee couldn't find an answer, he emailed his then Registered Agent and sometimes waited days for a reply.

Formations in under a minute
Entity formation has become Tru Arrow's most-used Discern workflow. The firm has completed several Delaware formations since April as it continues adding fund vehicles and LLCs.
Lawyers used to handle each one. Now Lee does it himself, with no stack of forms to fill out.

Tax filings off his plate
Tru Arrow used to receive spreadsheets for its entity tax filings and work through them by hand, which could take a couple of hours each time. Since switching, Discern has autofiled more than 40 Delaware entity tax filings for the firm.
Day-to-day management is simpler too. Filing dates are easy to find, good standing certificates are available when needed, and billing runs automatically instead of through the manual ACH payments Lee used to manage. As the only person handling this work, Lee gets that time back directly.
Room to grow
Tru Arrow manages entities across both Tru Arrow Partners and its Virtru family office, and Lee can switch between them within the platform. As the firm keeps forming new entities, each one now takes minutes and costs a fraction of what it once did.
